What are mins?

Mins are your balance — the amount of transcription time available in your account. 1 min equals 1 minute of video or audio. You can check your balance on your profile page.

How do I get free mins?

New users receive 30 free transcription mins as soon as they sign in. No extra action is required, and those free mins never expire.

Do speaker identification and timestamps cost extra?

No. They are already included in your mins, and mins represent the video duration you transcribe. However, if speaker identification was not enabled when you uploaded the video, the exported transcript will not include speaker labels. If you need speaker labels, please upload the video again with speaker identification enabled.

How many mins should I buy?

If you only need transcription occasionally, the 200 mins plan is a good fit. If you are a creator or often transcribe meetings, interviews, or longer recordings, the 600 mins plan is usually the better choice. If you need a lot more, the 6,000 mins plan gives you the best value.

What happens if I do not have enough mins?

The system checks your balance before each transcription starts. If your balance is not enough, you will see a prompt first, so a transcription will not start with insufficient mins.

If an error occurs during file upload or transcription, will my balance be deducted?

No. The system only charges you after it confirms that transcription has been completed.

Can I request a refund?

Yes. We offer a 14-day refund window if the mins you purchased have not been used. You can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. See the refund policy for full details.
